As a church family we enjoy spending time together in Worship, and in the Word, whether that’s during our Sunday school class, Sunday family services or online during Monday night Bible teaching.
Not only do we fast, pray, and break spiritual bread together, we often share in a fellowship meal on a Sunday and with our loved ones on Family and Friends Day. One of our visitors put it like this: “You always feel the warmth there… you feel so welcomed“.
During our annual Revival our extended Church family travel from across the country to worship with us. Over the weekend we share such sweet communion: our hearts are filled with brotherly love, joy and kindness as we open our homes, dine together and even carshare. It’s just like the Early Church in the book of Acts, who had all things common (Acts 2:44-47).
Our Revival weekend is one of the highlights of the year, not only do we get to know each other better but we also get to spend the weekend, yes the whole weekend in the Word! During the services we experience anointed preaching and teaching; the rich presence of God; and raw apostolic power as souls are delivered, healed and commissioned. It’s so wonderful to see men, women and children give their lives to the Lord, receive water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Souls are added to the Church and the Family of God, keeps growing!
Our Trips and Outings
Every year we also look forward to going on a church outing: there’s food, fun and loads of laughter. The excitement always mounts as we prepare for the day. Our children recite scriptures, take sponsored walks, sing and play instruments to raise the funds they need to pay for the trip!
Last year August, and again this year, we all went along to Centre Parcs in Longleat. We had an amazing time… our kids spent hours, literally in the Sub-tropical Swimming Paradise. They just didn’t want to leave! Having worked up an appetite, we picnicked, jumped on the train, kayaked and picnicked some more…
The fellowship and the food was sweet!
